I want to Joost !!!

Could Joost be the future of online television? I don't know, but I would love to see what all the fuss is about. I wanted an invite and come to find out there is a HUGE waiting list. So, I decided to do a little search on Joost invite. I found out that Brent Roos http://brentroos.com/2007/02/16/joost-invitation/ having a great contest to giveaway his invites. So, here I am trying to be one of the lucky ones who get one. Check out the rest of Brent's blog I went looking for an invite and found something new to read. It's funny and smart and I'm not just sucking up. ;) Check out this post with a very funny video. http://brentroos.com/2007/03/07/help-the-police/

Joost is no YouTube, you won't find any user submitted videos and thank god it's not being run by google. Joost is a new online video site that may revolutionize how we watch network television. Formerly known by the code name The Venice Project, Joost is being launched by Janus Friis and Niklas Zennstrom also responsible for Kazaa and Skype and there has been plenty of buzz about it. I've heard that Joost is going to be a hit not only because you can watch TV on your computer, but because it's easy to use. Just download the free software and get ready to watch. From what I've gathered a deal with Viacom is already in place and Joost will be airing great things like MTV and Comedy Central, as well as Paramount movies. Some programming will even be real time. Joost may soon be the answer for those of us who love to watch TV, but can't be tuned in every single second of the day. That's good for me because with 2 kids I barely have time to sit down. I'm stuck hoping for reruns or that the networks put the show up on their site. I really want to try this out and that's why I'm hoping I get an invite soon. Thanks for considering me.

the block incident!

Can someone tell me how a 4 year old can fit a medium sized wooded block in his mouth? While cleaning the fridge tonight I hear Megan yell, "Mom Mom help Jacob has a block stuck in his mouth." I think to myself, what kind of blocks does he have that he could get stuck in his mouth all of his are to big. So, I go in there and sure enough he has a medium sized block stuck in his mouth. The blocks I thought were to big fit. I was not a happy Momma. When I saw it I thought I'd be able to get it right out, nope took me a few minutes of maneuvering to get it unlodged. Not an easy task with Megan freaking out and crying because she's scared. Then Jacob is crying like crazy because he has block stuck in his mouth. I still don't know how in the world he got it lodged in there so good. Guess he has my big mouth. Well I'm tired guess I'll get to bed. Just wanted to share my story, maybe it will save some other Mom from the horror of seeing their kids with a block stuck in their mouth.

WDW

We went to disney in March. We all had such a good time. I felt like a big kid, since I have always wanted to go. If you've never been I highly recommend it. We had planned on waiting to go, but when a friends daughter got sick I suggested it. I figured lifes to short to keep putting stuff like this off. I'm so glad we didn't wait. I will say that I think that they put something in the drinks or food. Because since we left all I can think of is going back. I'd go right now if we could. Well I don't know I bet it's super hot and when we went in March it was pretty warm. I don't see how in the world people go when it really hot in the summer. Anyway hope you enjoy the pictures. Oh and while I'm thinking about it. Please say a prayer for this family. I have been keeping up with their story for over a year now. Sadly their little boy Jacob, who was just 6 years old, passed away Sunday. Even with the passing of their beautiful little boy their faith has remained unshaken. They are a great family and could use some prayers and good thoughts. http://www2.caringbridge.org/fl/jacob/
Also say a prayer for my friends little girl Juliana who is 4. Juliana was diagnosed with an inoperable tumor called brain stem glioma. They are also a great family. So remember Juli in your prayers she's such a little sweetheart. I'll post her site if her mom says it's ok. Thanks

Jacob's

Jacob's birthday
Today my baby turned 4 years old. I can't believe how fast the last four years have gone. Makes me happy and a little sad at the same time. We've all had a good day togeather. Last year at this time he was having a checkup on his thumbs. He had surgery on them and they were making sure everything was still ok. :) So far so good. His therapy has really made a differance. Well that's all for now.
